Say hello to Larry
The retired corporate investor
who realized what he was missing.
I remember the exact day I discovered Real Vision.
I was surfing the internet and I came across an interview with Mark Yusko. I was just blown away by it. I thought “That is really something…”
Raoul Pal conducted the interview and there was something very different about the way he and Mark interacted. Raoul’s questions were just so intelligent, and Mark’s responses were equally fascinating.
You know, I think that’s probably the single biggest differentiator between Real Vision and the traditional networks: It’s not the guests – it’s the interviewers.
Real Vision’s interviewers are just fantastic. They’ve spent decades in the financial industry and it shows. I’m sure that’s why Raoul is such a great interviewer – it’s because he’s managed money himself. So the questions he asks, and the way he asks them… it just blows away everything on mainstream financial TV.
If you watch CNBC for two minutes, you’ll quickly realize that that the anchors don’t really understand the topic. The interviewers don’t know what to ask. The mass media – even the financially-focused mass media – looks like rubbish when measured against Real Vision.
Frankly, I’ve ended up not trusting the mainstream media anymore. It’s an unreliable source. Look, I don’t agree with everything I hear on Real Vision. (I disagree with plenty). But even those speakers I disagree with are smart, genuine and worth listening to.
Real Vision has the very best people. In my opinion, that’s the number one reason why it’s able to consistently produce superior content.
