JKSuccinctly explained, well done! I'm impressed with UBS.
-
BC"Innovation Lab" within UBS. Ha ha ha. That's about as far as I watched this.
-
gsBut this is all really exciting. Development of hundreds of applications and new decentralized models are changing the space so fast it is hard to keep up. Bitcoin won't die nor will it's spawn.
-
gsMuch is happening in bitcoin in the next 8 months. The block reward halving, segwit, thinblocks, a hardfork and the hijacking of core development by AIG. Many in the community think the end is nigh !
-
KEDid I get this guy right that the banks are trying to implement their own private version of blockchain?? Well good luck!!
-
FSAnd if armed hostility ramps up in the world, the Internet will most likely be a target. Just sayin'...
-
gsSteve. The genie is out of the bottle with Bitcoin code being open source. It can't be un invented and it only takes 2 nodes to run a network. The only way to stop it is to turn off the internet.
-
SRWhen are people going to realise rhat Bitcoin is just an 'experiment'. So-called investors will likely loose everything. No FED would ever allow an unmanaged curreny to go mainstream, period.
-
gsDisclosure...I have been involved with the bitcoin-blockchain space for a couple of years now. Andreas Antonopoulos would be a fantastic addition to the bitcoin section of RealVision just google him
-
gsR3 is trying to implement a private ledger that stifles innovation and remains censored, unverifiable, centralized and really just a database. Love the talk though. I believe Mike Hearn is a core dev
-
gsI recommend that anyone interested look at dash.org. Currently we are running over 3500 Masternodes (Yes I run a few) and are #3 in cryptocurrency market cap. (litecoin is bitcoin and ripple isn't $)
-
gsProof of stake is currently working in DASH. 1000DASH is required to run a Masternode. With that investment (around 7000$US equivalent) you verify, mix, vote on proposals and gain 13% return.

MBI agree with darcey.Trace Mayer is the authority when it comes to bitcoin. He has been in Bitcoin sine the begining, and recommending it since it was a few cent.Strong Austrian views also.
-
ANgreat to hear a balanced view as it impossible to imagine Bitcoin/blockchain without some form of regulation. The use cases for BTC/blockchain are enormous, we are only just scratching the surface
-
SDThat was great - been following Alex for a while now for a matured view on evolution of Blockchain. Matured meaning - junction between regulation & blockchain/bitcoin.
-
JLgreat insight into the potential impact of blockchain on the real world
-
dwMay I recommend Trace Mayer and his Bitcoin Knowledge podcast (google it). I would love to him on RV.
-
CGFascinating. Great explanation of blockchain and its potential.
