RDIt would be super helpful if we could access the exchange though the app. Even better would be a separate app for the exchange. Just a suggestion. I’d definitely use more if I could through my iPhone like I do with the slack app.

DRMax, what is the name of the video you were referring to at 45:45 with Mike Green and ... (?) Raoul took over and you didn't had time to finish. Thanks

MOEnjoyed this so much. Loved the Raoul life lessons! Was so valuable and helped me crystallise my own life strategy. Thank you

VDI always had the same philosophy, maybe because I didn't grow in a country that was under socialist regime at the time. When I came to US at 25, I was shocked how different are the financial views of people here. When I bought my first house, everyone was telling me that I should put down as little as possible and take the loan for as long as possible. I thought the opposite, I put down as much as I have saved and took a 10 year loan so I can pay as little interest as possible. I was able to pay it off in 6 years. Most Americans don't see that as the smart choice. When, I tell my friends that a 30 year loan of 400 k house, often means that you will pay about another 500 k in interest (maybe less today), they are shocked. They never thought about it that way. I think the American population is purposely misled to make these bad financial choices.

MM100% I agree with Raoul on the stay out of debt advice. At the end of the day, successful investment/planning decisions are all about their result from a personal, visceral perspective.

dsWhat do you think about bitcoin lending services such as BlockFi and Celsius network?

TM@Raoul, Going forward, when you speak about Gold can you please decipher between physical & paper gold? There’s a huge difference in the physical market vs owning the stocks. Can you please use the word physical or fiat when referencing gold? Thank you kindly.

KBBest Insider Talk ever, Raoul! With Max's leading, you presented your current thinking on a comprehensive array of assets in a thoughtful, very succinct, and and at times feisty manner. Greatly appreciated. While I have carefully followed your reports and talks which have presented your framework and its implications for financial assets, this Insider Talk provided a concise summery of your thinking (I'm looking forward to the transcript for this talk being posted). Perhaps, you should consider scheduling future Insider Talks prior to a late lunch.

GHFunny that no one points this out about solar energy adoption... it is a technology (solar panel/installation cost curves) that produces DEFLATION...

OAVery interesting and thought-provoking, thank you!! Can I offer a suggestion to avoid the same questions coming up again and again? Have a piece - either video or a short written summary - that sums up your current framework + its implications in terms of asset classes + what you're looking at to confirm your hypotheses / what could potentially negate them or push them further into the future. Then pin that in a corner of RV's welcome page and update it anytime something truly major happens. I think that would help avoiding the same questions coming up again and again, and allow for everyone (or plus / pro members only?) to get a quick download of your views. In an ideal world, there'd be one of these for Julian too, or even better - each RV editorial team members! We did that collectively among the Slack channel members on the topic of inflation / deflation (2-page paper, no more), and shared in in our newsletter. It gives a quick download of the group consensus, and really doesn't need to be updated often at all (ie, would update it after the US election depending on the WH + congress results, and if a EU crisis or a China crisis happened).

ly“Money is a token to quality of life”-Raoul Pal. A Buddhist monk once said leaving the money in the bank is not yours. The bank uses your money to generate profit. Only when you use the money you really own the money!

WMAnother high quality discussion with Raoul, who also had a late lunch! RV is generating some killer material over the past few weeks. It’s well worth my Pro fees.
