Raoul We are not experts in Bitcoin. What reason do you see that the central banks are not starting to manipulate bitcoin as well, as is already evident with gold etc. there are already futures in bitcoin i think, no?

Its distributed nature makes it hard and also the futures are not liquid enough.. and the price action says otherwise... and I dont believe they manipulate gold either.

“With interest rates as low as they are,” Mr. Biden said, “every major economist thinks we should be investing in deficit spending to generate economic growth.”

Thanks for the Insider Talk. Seems like the risk of a stronger dollar is very high (Happens with higher short term yields OR weaker economy). Raoul, is there any reason you 'wouldn't' put on a long dollar trade (Or hedge) right now along side your TLT Calls? Thanks

To me. Raoul has been very transparent about being long BTC. However, I would appreciate the logic being fleshed out more. To me it seemed like the “I am long” to “I am all in” went really fast and pretty much just gave flashes on the subject. I would guess Raoul can share some more on the thinking behind it.

When looking at a data series that has massive base effects, Does anyone ever go back 2 years for the comp and then divide by 2? Might yield a more useful result than trying to interpret signal from noise in a sloppy anomaly like 2020.

Raoul, Julian - does today's Fed speak (around 1:00 PM ET today - which appeared to move the US long bond market) materially change anything you guys talked about yesterday? Thanks! (And, as always, fantastic insights!)

Tricky as Julian is more bearish bonds than me, Im more bullish... so we have both bases covered.

Raoul, you said you've spent a lot of time on the USDT issue. What does this mean? Do you have analysis and real insights you can share on this platform? Are you able to explain in more detail why it doesn't bother you? You said do your own research. OK. I'm doing what I can (like listening to other podcasts) but to be frank I don't have the kind of access to people and data that you and the RV team have. This is why joined RV. If you have more information please share it. If you don't have any further insights then just say so. I don't care as long as you are being honest and fully transparent with us all. Thanks.

We are working on bringing a few Tether experts on the Crypto platform to discuss the issue. In the meantime, Peter McCormack released a good episode of his podcast yesterday, focusing on that very topic: https://www.whatbitcoindid.com/podcast/questions-for-tether

Lovely comment from Raoul - "I was beside myself and had to leak it on Twitter." Explains his dilemma, beautifully.

I watched this live last night and here I am this morning playing and replaying parts of their discussion. It is marvellous how Insider Talks has developed and what foresight Raoul and his team had when creating it. Having watched it from Day 1, it just gets better and better. The power is in the way these two macro guys come together to make such a refined view of the circumstances each month. And as an amateur, who has been recently been restricted by the FCA, guide me in what I should do, It seems I willl gain so much as long as one of my next steps is to read and reread again Sheldon Hatenberg 'Options Volatility & Pricing' until I properly understand it. Thanks Raoul & Julian.
