Real Vision's Ed Harrison welcomes David Rosenberg, president & chief economist at Rosenberg Research & Associates, and Peter Boockvar, CIO at Bleakley Advisory Group, to discuss inflation, potential actions for the FED, and the reopening of the economy. Boockvar and Rosenberg each take different sides of the inflation argument with Boockvar arguing that inflation is a real threat and Rosenberg arguing that the FED should be worried about the state of the economy when the fiscal stimulus ends. Boockvar cites the recent CPI and PPI data as evidence that the FED should react to inflation while Rosenberg believes that other economic agents such as GDP and consumer spending more accurately explain the economy. However, Boockvar is supportive of energy and agriculture stocks, Asian markets, and precious metals.
