Published on: January 2nd, 2020 • Duration: 37 minutes

Peter Brandt has used classical technical analysis to trade the ever-changing commodities and forex markets successfully for the last four decades. Working with some of the largest institutional players, he founded Factor LLC in 1980, a proprietary trading firm that provides in depth research as well as trading services to its members. Brandt has also authored two books. The first, Trading Commodity Futures with Classical Chart Patterns, published in 1990 is widely regarded as a classic among top traders, and the second, Diary of a Professional Commodity Trader, was #1 on Amazon for an astounding 27 weeks. He joins Real Vision veteran, Dave Floyd of Aspen Trading, to explore Brandt’s breadth of knowledge, experience, and his outlook for markets. The thing I enjoyed most about this conversation (and many other RV productions) is that it doesn't matter if you're young or old, $10 or $100 haircut... you are given a platform on the basis of your reputation and thoughtfulness. Keep it up!

I think the fundamentals are also there. While the rate differential favors the USD, Fed has also more room to cut. ECB has already eased, while Fed will continue.
