We all can agree on the obvious macro tailwinds for gold, silver, and the rest of the precious metals over the medium term, but what do you do after a surge in price like the one we’ve witnessed recently or when you find yourself sitting on a heap of profits? As gold approaches its all-time high and silver rips ever higher, answering these questions has never been more important. To this end, we’ve invited Greg Weldon, founder and CEO of Weldon Financial Publishing, to take us through the intricacies of what's moving these markets, and perhaps more importantly, how to construct and manage positions at a time when the bulls have taken control. I think your perception is inaccurate. Not at all BS as he was trading in the pits decades ago. He nailed the dollar crash, as I did I may add, and this commodity boom incl gold & silver well before that. The real deal.

I used to run a sound recording studio in NYC in the 70s and the most important point I drummed into my sound engineers was DO A SOUND CHECK. Do it and then do it again. And do it until you've got the sound levels where you want them. RVTV - for whatever reasons - just continues to do the area of sound recording so poorly, it really brings your presentations down a full grade. Yes, it appeared Greg Weldon had audio problems at his end. These should have been fixed prior to turning the camera on! There is no excuse for this level of overmodulation/distortion. It makes Greg look bad. Max's internet bandwidth problems were minor in comparison to the anguish, almost painful audio coming from Greg's end of the conversation. Guys - you at RVTV do such an incredible job!! - but this sound/ microphone/audio cable connection issue has been a consistent problem with your presentations going back at least 24 - 36 months. Someone at RVTV needs to step up and say "enough is enough" with this poor sound quality and take the necessary steps to get the sound right, each and every time. It's an easy fix - hire a sound engineer - and give him the tools and budget to get it right. It really is an easy fix. I saw to it in the 70s, with 35-piece orchestras in studio, and with each of the 35 instruments individually microphoned. I love what RVTV does - and loved Greg's presentation and slides. But these audio issues should not be here - you know it and I know it. Please do better.

Agreed. They need one A/V person to listen and watch and do a sound check, before they get started. And do it the next days, or a week later, if they can't get the levels and lighting right. That said, in the midst of a pandemic, they have a bunch of financial (not A/V) experts, spread out all over the world, who are doing this in their home "studios", typically without the ability to have a sound/video tech to come by and set them up, so it's not surprising that this goes poorly, now and then. There is just no excuse for it, though. They should try harder. How does Max listen to this and not think "There's something wrong here" and call someone over to trouble shoot it? This one is so bad it's painful to listen to, and I was so psyched to hear Weldon talk.

Well said, Ron Y. The sound on Weldon's mic is terrible. RVTV is a high end product, and the technical aspect of this video was not up to RVTV standards.

Great interview, thanks Max. Great guest Greg - so much experience and knowledge. I was wondering about demand wrt commodities in the current pandemic - and was pleased you covered that. A lot of other great practical information generously shared. I like Greg's view on exits and instinct. I agree - the psychology of what he was explaining is the killer - and what makes and breaks successful long-term traders. The honest "yes" as to whether gold is manipulated was refreshing! "Things are crazy, and were not even at crazy yet." - so true. Thanks again !

It is always a pleasure to listen to people who dare to express a clear view. Raoul is an example of that. Greg just gave another. That was my main point! That being said, I think RV needs to work hard on improving sound as well as image on its videos. It is not very professional to produce bad sound and blurred images. To stay ahead you need to realise that although content has much higher priority that form, the latter is not irrelevant. Greg deserved better than what he got. The interviewer acknowledged that technical problems were (also) at his end, and that should never be the case. Working for RV should mean that you had the right equipment and took your time to adjust it, test it, prior to doing an interview. Corona distance and adaption make for an excuse only for so long. If RV intends to continue doing most interviews via Skype, Zoom etc., you really do need to be more dilligent with respect to delivering quality sound and images.

It's probably telecomm and provider issues, which are beyond the control of the production team. Thus some interviews are worse than others. Inconsistency and glitches result.

With all due respect on the ags commods side, this is what most commentators have said the past few years Ie if supply is an issue then price goes up because demand has been strong. Firstly that’s almost a motherhood statement as of course if supply is curtailed prices will have to go up to ration demand but there’s no more detailed elaboration through how/when/how likely do you think the supply is going to be affected the next few weeks/month and how is the positioning in the market for this supply disruption? When do you admit you’re wrong on this supply curtailment/strong demand thesis? Are prices already high enough in relative/absolute terms to ration demand? Also, just worth mentioning if you go back and look through most ag commod commentaries say even on RV itself over the past 5 years, it typically is encroached through a bullish lens on the thesis that IF a supply problem happens price will go up and it’s typically mentioned in pretty open ended price and timeframe terms without mentioning the carry already embedded in that particular commodity.

Introducing quality investment companies and their thinking to RVTV subscribers is a major benefit to all of us. Thanks for mentioning this is at arms lengh. Great interview. Love the enthusiasm. In commodity terms the $US is losing value. In terms of FX it is race to the bottom. $US can still be strong in FX, but all the CBs need to print really fast. Borrow, borrow, borrow. It will be interesting. DLS
