RMI really, really enjoyed this video. Kevin is always outstanding and he really brought out the best in Morris (great chemistry as mentioned below). I went and listened to Morris's podcasts and they are equally enjoyable (no specific investment advice - at least to date in his podcast - but hopefully he will cast some pearls of wisdom in that area in future podcasts). Anyway, a double thumbs up for this one!

JAKevin, take a look and draw a chart. Look at the 10-year since 1980. Now take an inverse of the Debt to GDP ratio. See if you notice the pattern. The only way your view comes to fruition is if they suddenly figure out how to grow GDP at double the rate of debt growth. Then maybe I can get on board with the roaring 20's call. I just don't see it without crushing asset prices first and cause a massive deflationary pulse. And I don't know how you figure that is going to happen given the history of the past 12 years and the labor participation rate as it tracks since post-WWII. We have pretty much been growing asset prices thru debt issuance since 2008 because labor is getting squeezed by several different things. Convert the SP500 to be denominated in Gold and see where it came off the rails.

SLOutstanding interview. Love Kevin Muir's interview style and am a long-time avid listener of the Market Huddle. Big fan of Morris (previously heard him on the Market Huddle, Ep 96), great stories; he's the real deal and someone everyone can learn from especially what it takes to be a professional trader. Kevin needs regular gig on Realvision and I'll bet getting Morris to interview some of his contemporary traders would be a truly worthwhile educational endeavor.
