JF"Finding your Fractals". Here is a real life example of one of my biggest trading mistakes, taking profits too early, not letting winners run.. Why do I keep repeating this mistake. Here is the fractal. I came from a very large family with very little money. Whenever there was an extra piece of pie or other food that no one had eaten, I would ask my Mother, who is that extra piece of pie left for? Her answer, whoever is quick enough to grab it! Fast forward fifty years, If I'm not quick enough to grab this profit now, it will be gone! This is very much like making the unconscious, very conscious. Priceless.

JFExcellent. I'm studying and applying the concepts in "Market Mind Games", by Denise. It has already made a huge difference in my perception of the markets and my trading performance. Highly recommended.

LHOh my, I also realized that I am living my life over in my trading! I played division 1 soccer and tennis growing up and I always had the "potential" to do something with sport but I stopped playing cause I fell out of love with the sports. Butttt, I seem to trade with great positions and great trades only to get out at the wrong time and I go, "oh well, atleast I had the potential to be a winner!". As long as I get to the "potentially great" area I get out of trades or focus on other strategies rather than staying with my winning ones... This was a fantastic video!

MSWhat a wonderful talk. I don't know how I would have come by this info except through RV

RMFantastic interview - great insight into the "squishy" aspects of trading! Ms Shull is the best trading psychologist you have on RV. Peter Brandt is my second favorite. While Peter is not a trained psychologist he brings his real world experience and how he has learned to interpret those experiences to reach some of the same conclusions as Ms Shull. I would love it if you could get Peter to do a full hour of his trading psychology to the RVTV audience. Many thanks, Rick
