Published on: January 1st, 2021 • Duration: 27 minutes

Paul Brody, principal and global blockchain leader at EY, joins Alex Saunders, founder & CEO of Nuggets News, to discuss Ethereum, enterprise adoption, and crypto privacy tools. Brody explains EY's Nightfall privacy project, the significance it has to enterprise and institutional adoption of crypto infrastructure, and the importance of it being made open source. He describes the growth in enterprise adoption and development happening on top of Ethereum. Filmed on July 13, 2020. Key Learnings: Enterprise adoption of Ethereum is growing quickly. I think RV needs to expand the scope to also explore Polkodot and Cardano as 2021 will see their platforms come to light and will offer equal or better tech than Ethereum and are top 9 platforms by market cap. I think the discussion needs to be as broad as exploring different equity options.

Agreed. I searched the exchange for some discussion on these last week and didn't find anything. I would also be interested very much in a deep dive on these two and a look into what to expect in 2021. It looks like we may be headed in that direction now that XRP (COUGH!) and ETH have been covered.

The cannibalisation of the crypto market cap amongst many coins is what harms the space. We need to bring the mainstream investors to the table first before we offer them the whole menu of food to choose from.

This put me off initially, because I thought the man was wearing his pajamas. Also the quote "...don't know what the internet is" seemed a bit off from someone who worked at IBM. Ever notice a certain "type" is attracted to ETH? Long on emotion, short on pragmatism. If I were truly vetting ETH for anything, I'd be very concerned about the moral hazard introduced by the DAO rollback, and the haphazard pivot to Proof-of-Stake. Don't trust, verify.
