Uncertainty across Europe represents the biggest story for 2017, according to Michael Schneider, who takes V Questions, which always throws up some of the sharpest, most incisive commentary you will find anywhere on finance. Filmed in London on November 29, 2016.

Very insightful, especially where he shares he thought change would start in periphery of Europe and was surprised it started in UK and US. Light bulb went off for me! Thanks rvTV and Michael!

When Michael said he thinks gold will have another digit on the end of its price, I presume he means in the $10,000's per ounce.....do others interpret this the same way?

I 100% agree with Thomas and Stu below. I do like to all forms of news but grimace at most of the conventional media and firmly believe it is way more slanted than recent decades. I would not have bet against Trump or Brexit but hoped they would both show the establishment were out to lunch. Therefore very pleased with the results. Unfortunately, for some there are more shocks to come as black swans come home to rest. Prepare, anticipate and try to stay focused as the shocks surprise the totally unwary and ill prepared.

Michael is one of the very best we have had on RVTV and the competition is tough.. Just a great thinker. and always manages to throw in a great little verbal pearl... "unscramble the brexit egg"..!!. Milton well done on time stamping the videos. That whining from the crowd was getting very boring!

I agree, Thomas. I also was not in the least surprised by Brexit or Trump and I can see further upsets on the horizon in Europe. The tone between British colleagues and friends was very telling as is the tone now between my Dutch, French and German associates. It's almost an unspoken undercurrent which is why those polls were so far from the pulse of the people. If Michael Schneider's correct then trouble in Europe must surely be a risk for the already faltering single currency, everywhere you look there's unacceptable risk. I'll sit it out on my Golden stool and watch with interest from the back of the stands thanks.

I called the Brexit and Trump votes around 2 1/2 months in advance each time. Never waivered. Have the email trail to prove it. I don't mention this to be self-congratulatory. That would be meaningless. Who cares? My question is why did I see it when so many others were surprised? I suspect it's 2 things: I don't watch or listen to or read the "news." I wasn't disinformed. I get all my information 3rd hand from sites such as RV. And I could just FEEL the disaffection and disillusion within myself and the "regular" people I interact with ... and believed it would translate to votes for change , despite the fact folks held their views close to the vest. And now with Trump going full Goldman and Mnuchin going full anti-Fed audit, the disillusion is in the early stages of turning to resolute resistance and rage among those who understand the stranglehold the .01%ers have on us. We just got fooled again. So predictable, and yet people fell for the con. What the establishment doesn't get is they're playing with fire. Next time, a whole lotta people will say screw the electoral process., it's a waste of time. We won't get fooled again. Factor in a financial crisis, and the fabric starts to unravel.

!!!! Oops - just noticed what the chevron is for on the thumbnail sketch of each of the previous videos (clicking on the chevron shows the "info" page that appears on the latest video). So problem solved. (Happy customer!!! <smile>)

Thank you, thank you, thank you - for adding the "recorded date" to the video!!! You're listening to your viewers!!! One small nit-pick, it only appears on the "latest" video page, the one at the top of the page where you give some info on the interviewee and their background (ie, once the video is not the leading video you won't see the recorded date (once it's below the fold so to speak)). Anyway we can see this info once it's off the top of the screen list? Again, many thanks for providing this date info - RVTV is the best!!! :-)
