    Do the banks just simply fight back by offering a so called "P2P" service that is simply funded with their own funds?

    smells like a solar style bubble in the making. That said, wont change the end result that the traditional banking model as we know will look very different in 5 years time

    The only concern I have near term is that investors without anywhere near the knowledge that Paul has, are flooding into the space throwing cash at anyone claiming to be Fin Tech.

    Is this a viable new investment class? I think so based on experience as a lender with Ratesetter in the UK.

    With Blackrock securitizing these loans, the trust in the intermediary is diluted, much like the local banker knowledge lost in 2005 CDO's
