Contrary to other comments I think this is really good. It goes to the heart of chronic underperformance by active managers... doing what feels comfortable and fits the ego rather than rolling with intuition and the id and acting on available information. The example is perfect too... managers positioned defensively despite the Fed completely changing course, because of basic loss aversion as described... everyone wants to keep their job. These psychology segments are probably the most valuable content on Realvision- thanks.

Would have appreciated some insight into how to react / defend against cognitive dissonance rather than spending the whole interview defining what it is...

Poor, cliche driven piece. No insight in this.
