    This is what I think a true “hedge fund” is as described by Chris. Hedge funds now, are just levered event driven and arbitrage strategies that more times than not , have negative carry due to levered exposure on events that have neutral probability payouts.

      I ran a correlation matrix against my own PA when I was curious to see where my positions really lied. Guess what happens ? I took 1/2 my portfolio down because i was essentially making the same bet 15 different ways.... I’m glad chris mentioned this at the end. While I didn’t run it against vix , it was a super beneficial exercise.

    Instructive stuff from Chris - a nice little reminder from his 2017 interview. Would be great to have him on again soon.
