Just checked the Gold net long position at the following link, and notice we've lost 46,400 net long contracts this week:

    http://www.investing.com/economic-calendar/cftc-gold-speculative-positions-1618

Given the data is only accurate up until around Tuesday afternoon, we'll have to wait until next Friday's CoT data is published to gauge the full impact on the speculative long position of this week's decline in Gold. The following is also a good free source of CoT data but don't think it's been updated for this week yet:

Am learning much by being one of Peter's subscribers. Thanks. :)

Hey Peter, for those of us not trading Forex or Commodities, maybe offer some equity or ETF ideas. Example: Soybeans, who benefits from higher prices and who doesn't. Always enjoy Peter and his chart work. All the best!

$1.03 gulp !! that will have major implications for my country, not just for CPI but Bonds and Stocks. Let's hope Mark Carney will read this by the end of 2017.
