I think it pretty sweet how Dave mixes it up with the location, backgrounds and such. Real Vision is evolving and getting more and more confident with the art of presentation. Nice.

From a developing trader Dave, thanks a lot. Really helpful series. Trading in real time is definitely far more difficult than analysing static charts from past setups.

For those curious about further insights to Elliott Wave (EW) and some of the scanners and computer driven wave counts, I address some client questions about them here: https://www.aspentrading.com/fact-vs-fluff-elliott-wave-technical-analysis-scans/

You nailed that EU call. I was long on a different basis than yours, but that 1.065-1.07 call was spot on. Even with stellar NFP data, the technical took over the EU on friday

Thank Dave, I have enjoyed this series. Good to be reminded of the fundamentals of TA again. I like that you just stick to a small set of known assets, maybe I should do that too, haha. For future videos, I think it goes without saying that you should definitely make a video on EW! I've looked at it years ago but it seems to devolve into abstract nonsense at some point when the big picture waves fail to deliver. You obviously have a way of keeping it simple and effective - would be great to learn about. Also, I think it would be awesome for those of us who don't live in the US, to see your upcoming ranch session! Please consider filming it and making it a RealVision presentation! Would be hugely appreciated! Thanks.

Closed PDP for a modest .07 loss. Not seeing the follow-through I had hoped for. Other technical factors developing too that suggest longs in here make little sense.

Enjoyed this episode too. It was part tactical, part strategic, and part philosophical in the approach to investing and trading. Great work! Great session.

Hi George - there may well be better set-ups/charts out there. But for me at least, I can only focus on a handful of FX pairs and major asset classes. Beyond that group and I am ineffective as it takes too much bandwidth to effectively track and trade more. We will see regarding your S&P call - been tough to be short, unless it was a very short-term tactical bet. Take care, Dave

i think there is better chart analysis that can be done than the ones used by this technical analyst. i will leave it at that. He might be right, but in the case of the sp500 risk reward he states is not even an interest to me. i have to look for situations i believe have 4-5 x 1 risk reward ratio. personally, i am short the sp500 from nearer the highs made and will likely hold. at current levels today, mar 6, my opinion is we could possibly trade sideways to lower, with a test of 2375-80 which will hold . Downside objective for june sp500 is 2275.

James S.....that is what I like about bringing together different analysis perspectives. I am a client of Michael as his work dovetails in nicely with mine. That is why I invited him (and others) to speak at the Traders Conference I am putting on.....https://www.aspentrading.com/round-table-2017/

Thanks, Dave. I enjoyed this series as it provided a great framework to base further research into each aspect of TA. It was interesting that both your H&S and correction analysis of the DXY daily chart showed 99 as a tipping point, which matches Michael Oliver's (Jan '17 RV guest) view that 99 is the critical point from a macro perspective. Food for thought.

Good morning traders. I am going to start filming the 'Monthly Analysis/Forecast' piece in about an hour. It will be posted here at RVTV on Tuesday. Some new additions to the format should prove very helpful. Keep the questions coming.
