Nobody knows. You can have 500 HBS Baker scholars and 500 MIT Math PHDs and 990 of them will have a different opinion on how this plays out.

With two additional days of market activity since this was filmed I believe the trade is at least early. I’ve wanted to short the QQQs for months but never felt comfortable for any short whether short or long term YET. Not even via Puts. Seems like we are getting the blow off stage just starting to roll.

It only just broke out of consolidation and the divergence is not really confirmed imo. So i doubt it is already in for a turn.

I totally agree-we are already short semiconductor ETF SMH through the ultrashort-starter position-tech is often the last blast of a rally cycle-plus, the bigger they are the harder they fall.

Based on trading software view, the date was June 12, 2018. Markets can remain insane longer than investors can remain solvent. With ETF buying QQQ, FANGs, not sure technical will hold. Good presentation. Thx

Great minds think alike. Between the seasonality of the broader market, the latest Tech run to newly made obscene highs, I am with ya here. Posted the same on StockTwits.
BUT, there is one thing I am concerned with. Back in 2000 Tech boom came along WAYYY to early. Now with IOT, 5g on the way, it’s more like a teenager, vs an infant. While usually betting against tweens/teens is usually safe, I believe there may be a little more to go at least according to my fibs.
I’m with you on the Neg divergence tho. It’s pretty blantent. Thing I like about divergences is it’s reliability once the turn is made. Great idea! Thanks😉
