Interesting .. trying to expand .... good idea ..... but be careful as many people below do not like this. My high school coach said me ..... what do you do when you winning ? Nothing was the answer .... just continue doing what you are already doing. Ok , so what do you do when you are losing ? Change something was the answer. Exactly - RV seems to be succeeding .... don't change that winning formula is the message here. Ask questions - sure. Presentation matters. Best,

I don't know where to begin expressing my disappointment and outrage at this sort of advertising/commercialism from RVTV. Very, VERY disappointing to see.

Looks to me like the finance guys have finally gotten RV TV by the throat and are demanding more marketing, more money, more monetizing, ...

I'm very disappointed. RV did with this video exactly what it said never would: mislead people for their own gain, just like mainstream financial media would. Such a shame.

I fully support your multifaceted approach with something for everyone. You have done an excellent job so far, and I wish you the best as you branch out an explore new opportunities. Just give us a heads-up as to what kind of presentation it is. In this case the info states: "Our focus is on Rex Tilson who delivers a quite remarkable view on the valuation of a well-known stock." This is not what was presented. Since I am retired, I just move on. (I always fast forward through the music when it is like the music in this one). Others, however, are very busy and would like to know what to actually expect. DLS

Yet another product placement...is RV listening to the complaints?

Hi AP Yes we always listen to our subscribers. Of course we've listened to the complaints and are changing the way these videos are presented from tomorrow. We have also listened to the many people who have got in touch with us directly to ask about sponsoring Real Vision Free, using Real Vision for their Live events and asking about Enterprise Subscriptions. So you see, there are also many people who really appreciate knowing about these services. As you can imagine, it is very difficult to keep everyone happy and these films were my decision - so as Chief Creative Officer at Real vision - if anyone has messed up it's me. I tried to make these videos a bit more playful and fun than a cheesy sales pitch but clearly I made some mistakes and I'm sorry for that. I have now addressed the issues and hopefully we are back on track - having found a way of giving everyone what they want. You can judge that from tomorrow. Thank you.

Just unsure if your main business is promoting financial content that is serious and non-CNBC how could you justify things like this or 2 weeks worth of crypto nonsense ? I can’t remember the last time a guest was on the magnitude of a Gundlach...

Thank you Damian for your honesty and for taking the time to respond. You guys have a big challenge: (1) managing excess capacity of fantastic creatives in the video production business (like a traditional video production company) which could be leveraged for all sorts of more marketing-oriented initiatives while at the same time (2) satisfying an audience of die-hard finance/economics people (the people that come first, as your true first 1000 fans as Kevin Kelly would put it => http://bit.ly/30aYXAF). And now that you have shareholders, the game has changed. I am sure you will find a way to manage this without enraging your core audience while delivering value as well on the marketing content side. For I belong to the finance audience, I just wanted to make 2 final points: * I completely agree with the ‘less content, more quality’ concept. You guys are now releasing too much that it’s impossible to follow and a lot of great content gets lost (and past content is truly unsearchable as it’s lost in the sea of past episodes). Following RV has become a full time job and I would suggest (1) Releasing much less (say on Monday - Wednesday - Friday). The argument ‘there should be content for everybody’ made sense at the beginning, but it’s now impossible to follow. * I would take the concept of ‘Shows’ and give it a breakdown by ‘Asset classes’ and ‘Strategies’. For now, if I want to know about everything that has been said about oil, I need to type in ‘oil’ in the keywords and everything pops up in a very disordered manner (both in regards to the dates of release and the length of interviews). My dream goes as follows: I wake up and want to know ‘what is going on with Oil RIGHT NOW’ and go right to this channel and I know I will get the latest/well organized information there. * Thanks for already making some adjustments concerning the ads. In my opinion however, just add a tab on top that says ‘Private services’ where anyone interested will be able to click on. Now, those services are right below the main video and people have to scroll thru them to access the latest videos. Thanks again to the team for listening to what your customers have to say.

If you really care or not Damian will depend on whether you keep adding more BS at the end of regular videos the audience duly paid for with the expectation of no ads
