Excellent interview, with basic English language and not to much jargon in order for ordinary people to understand. Thank you Chris and RV!

I always enjoy hearing Chris with his pithy and concise analysis. I think showing the question/topic on the screen rather than using video time to ask the question really moves things along and allows us to focus on the meat of the interview. Nice touch there Milton as it really saves a lot of back and forth time allowing us to get more content!

Since the political class is working to embarrass Pres Trump, why wouldn't they use Trump as an opportunity to raise interest rates?

The most concerning part of this excellent video is that the Fed main directive is to keep the Dow up and not manage interest rates. Mr. Whalen is certainly correct, as QE, Twist, etc. inflated stock and some hard asset prices. When the Fed is driven mainly by political interests, it will exacerbate the bubble cycles. Not sure how far this will go, but it is certainly not good. DLS

Well done, concise, pragmatic and logical with conclusions backed up by analytical foresight. This is not what you get many times by the street analysts that are always bullish or "neutral" and won't speak critically because they might get blow back. Once again real added value by Real Vision!

No, Dom, they never do...As Simon Michaelovich [sorry about the spelling ;)] says "In Ecclesiastes, you find the the statement that there is nothing new under the sun..." meaning that what came before is forgotten because when times are good, we tend to think that these times will last forever so we don't need the rules that limited our stupidity. Hence, we make the same mistakes over and over again.

The last two segments in particular provide some brilliant insights. Would love to hear Chris do a deeper dive into how the Fed unwinds its balance sheet and what the ancillary impacts might be to the credit markets and financials.

Brilliant RV. Nicely done. So much prefer an expert who works in industry over a generalist hedge fund manager, with no hands on experience, and a 30,000 foot view that is completely worthless.

Wow!! What a treat it is to listen to someone who "really" knows their subject. Only trouble is...he packed an hour's worth of information into 30+ minutes so now I must go back for a second listen...as I know I missed a lot.

My sentiments exactly. Been following him for 10 years. haven't even listened yet but i know the quality of what he delivers. Saved me from a foolish RV contributor who touted banks at the end of last year when it was way too late. Got out near the top thanks to CW.
