Please stop this kind of presentation. I am totally for educating younger (and older) inexperienced people for investing and introducing them to concepts in markets and finance experienced professionals take for granted...that is commendable. However, there is no need to make this "cool" or "hip" with this kind of presentation. Yes, you can have a basic module/series on core/simple concepts for those who don't know, but why make this so "hip" or should I say "hip hop" or whatever. Finance is a serious game..involving people's capital. Those interested in learning are not only those young people who wear baseball hats sideways, and wear hoodies but there could be older retirees , mothers, etc...all whom are interested to learn the basics--again a commendable endeavor by RV to teach them--but no need to make it so "fly". Just make it simple/present in a clear, clean manner, and if that doesn't appeal to the beginner and you need to hook them with a "cool" presentation, its probably a good thing they leave/don't watch a simple/non-cool presentation, because if they need those "hip" bells and whistles to keep their attention, they will probably blow a large amount of money if their attention span can't be retained without this kind of "cool" presentation.

Probably RV is trying to attract a younger audience. But I would like to have a grumpy old man corner.

I'm so tired of this guy and his jokes. This episode made me laugh so hard I accidently wet myself and was forced to change my pants and sterilize my desk area before continuing to watch. I don't have time to do that every week. Please reconsider your strategy Real Vision. Maybe replace him with powerpoint slides? Those are dry enough. And they keep me dry too. Thanks.

Stop the MADNESS!!!- The madness is this arbitrary definition of a bear market is -20%. Please tell me what authority declared this? This was all settled over 100 years ago with DOW Theory. A bear market is declared when a secondary reaction completes itself, then rallies for a substantial time and fails to take out the old highs and then declines to CLOSE below the secondary reaction low. Both the DOW and the Transports must violate the secondary reaction lows. Note it has nothing to do with what percentage it declines. Once this occurs the bear market is defined as beginning at the previous all time high. Therefore this bear market signal was triggered on December 14th and once it occurred the beginning of the bear is classified as beginning October 3 2018. By the way the DOW was down only 11% when the bear market signal was triggered and it proved to be very timely! That's the rule!!! Throw away this crazy 20% thing... it's meaningless along with this ridiculous 10% "correction" rule. A correction is when the index declines 3% below the latest high opposite the primary trend. A correction may eventually develop into a secondary reaction. The secondary reaction may eventually trigger a bear market signal, as has now occurred (Dec 14th) Oh, and AK is just fine. Keep him as it's a little comic relief. If you can't see that then just don't watch.

You are confusing trend change/confirmation with the type of the market. Trend down (bear trend) is not bear market. Trends need to be diagnosed on the particular time frame. Bear market territory is simply entering 20% correction from the last top, as in the video. It is just a phrase and by itself is meaningless. Bear market doesn’t explain reasons or whether it is cyclical or secular. Correction is a correction. Bear market is 20% down from last ATH, it is as simple as that.

I hope real vision rethinks their strategy towards this segment. The forced comedy and sarcasm detracts from the message. If One wants that they should consider tasty trade. Please leave the fluff at the door

As of today’s close the Dow is the only index not in bear market territory. Only 106 basis points away.
