    A totally forgotten fact...the american public had to pay for the Feds mistakes post 2003 especially in 2005 & 2006. The FED responsible for being drunk at the wheel. Apparently its all different now

    Broad thoughts that I've heard before opening the WSJ and listening to any talking head on the street. Not much additional insight provided beyond confirmation of assimilated news. I need real ideas.

    A small drop in oil prices may have been good for the consumer but a >50% drop is likely to have negative effects on main street in terms of employment and lost revenue for small businesses.

    O'Rourke got everything right. Uniquely among recent Think Piece's he emphasized the corruption of P/Es due to financial engineering. The HD comment was especially noteworthy.
