Numerous one month highs in the context of a massive rally after a significant drawdown are almost a given. This should not be used as evidence of anything! A lot of irrelevant “signals” referenced throughout the interview. Watching price and coming up with a story to match is a dangerous game!

Margin compression is in the cards. I have been harping on this, but the earnings are really starting to show lower earnings even with small revenue gains. Be careful. DLS

Seems to be going in a circle to justify a preconceived answer.

I suggest cautiousness taking this trade into action after reading Julian Brigden's tweet many days back: https://twitter.com/JulianMI2 (see his tweet on 01/10/2019 at 1:23 AM) (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-01-09/lennar-misses-its-own-guidance-on-orders-as-housing-demand-slows) . As he is the technical person, his call for long is justified when LEN trades above $47. However if the current triangle breaks down below $43, I do not see that his target will be achievable in the time period he opines here.

A number of home supply companies, i.e. paint and flooring, are showing slowing sales. At the same time, home prices are topping and starting to stall. In many markets, homes are unaffordable for first time buyers. I believe the down cycle has not completed in this market and the call may be early.

Chris is one of the better technical analysts out there. Very refreshing to hear about more than just levels and moving averages.

Interesting pitch. A few things do not reconcile for me, Fed-related narrative among some of them. The pro-cyclical leadership of the YTD rebound indicates that market participants are more comfortable with this new Fed?....

Starts on the wrong foot: "price leads fundamentals" so what leads price? voodoo?

Demand. And demand comes from all areas. Fundamentals are usually confirmed later.

Global liquidity - which is why, as things currently stand, I don't buy Mr. Verrone's pitch.
