    As far as I can tell, all roads are pointing to the start of a new bull market in gold...though it may not be straight up. That said, I disagree with Peter that Jay Powell is the same as the other Fed governors. He is actually different, even if he has to respond to similar political pressures. I can see him going against the Trump administration and being more patient with rate cuts than people expect. We shall see.

    Gold positives: real yields falling and govt bonds outperforming lower quality credit. I'm waiting for the dollar to roll over more and for credit spreads to widen further, then watch gold! For bull market confirmation, watch the SPX: GLD ratio chart too.
