Fed 25bps hike will have no impact on the market and buy China in June 2015... I hate to say it but that could be the biggest trade he got wrong :)

Whilst the 'weight of money' argument for China is hard to disagree with; the massive gap between acceptable standards of corporate governance and current Chniese ones will deter any prudent investor.

@ Kelly: they (Gave-Kal) have a set of their OWN funds: http://gavekal.com/c/index.cfm?pID=10 their "UCITS" funds are apparently not avail to "U.S. persons" - but they have something for everyone

Nice interview - wish you could have pushed back on why he believes that rising interest rates will have minimal effects on the US economy. And yes, that was a nice quote at the end.

The greatest edge provided by RealVisionTV is their ability to shift focus from trying to forecast things to thinking critically about payoff structures of ideas/trades. Adaptation - great quote.

to gain reserve currency status the yuan will have to stay pegged to the rising US$.. Exports and employment will suffer. I f theythen devalue there will be capital outflows and a stock market crash.

"As an investor, you are paid to adapt, not to forecast. Those who adapt fastest win" Great piece of advice!!

Excellent. Great Q and A. I would love to have some of his thoughts on which EFT[s] for China make the most sense.
