Fragile Diamonds

Published on: May 12th, 2021

More and more signs of financial market fragility are appearing. Julian’s personal “wall of worry” is getting harder to climb. Clearly, he doesn’t have diamond hands. This In Focus is dedicated to position management and a renewed bias for a weaker USD, lifting Precious Metals in its wake.

Julian, your "Cisco in 2000" question was part of what I was trying to allude to in my MI question. Thanks for a great update.

Timely and simply brilliant. Julian is very very sharp in noticing Taiwan market and the analogy of copper/iron ore.

CSCO was one of my first investments as a college student with not much money. At least I learned a lesson when I didn't have any real money at stake.

I hope its not too late to ask, Julian, I have found some cheap calls on UDN, a etf to short .DXY. Would a Jan '22 expiration be a reasonable time period to capture the move to 80 on the index, assuming the trade triggers. A strike of 23 only costs .20.
