dsCan we not have the transcript of this one pl
-
ekI don't know what the point of this rambling is
-
mykind of annoying that I can't tell whether TF is a grand BS artist or overall legit....
-
SUBrilliant, 10/10.
-
EVI’m awaiting the 4-hour trading book... 8-12 months to learn speaking a new language is an interesting one, I’ll give that a go. It’s an otm call I guess.
-
PShighly intriguing and hilarious comments. i saw tim present at the 2015 robin hood investors conference in NYC. going to try that breakfast he recommended, and man, those ice baths i just know are going to be painful, but i'll try 'em if they heighten my senses and awareness during the trading day...
-
MAI'm a regular listener of Tim's podcast. I think this was a very good interview to have on Real Vision. It shows that these small "life hacks" are beneficial for all sorts of people, including the hedge fund world. I'd like to see more interviews like this in the future.
-
HSTim is teaching the world a lot, but good taste in clothing is not part of it. Martial art expert.... life hacks.... I see only a smart guy with extremely bad taste who is selling people a false sense of real insight and knowledge. Some free advise for Tim: buy some Todds and a Maffeis shirt
-
fsLOL this guy is so full of shit. anyone can gain 20-30 pounds of muscle in 30 days ? anyone can memorize 1000 digits? come one man.. you're so close to having us all fooled. fucking fluff brain who loves himself way too much , can't even be humble with two much greater minds in the room.
-
DYTim is really full of himself and full of shit. After 15min of listening to Tim, the master of life and the master of shit, I had to turn it off.
-
RMGreat interview !
-
DRMark and Tim were great. Thanks Tim for your humility and strength of character. Tim thanks for your life hacks and hard work.
-
BBGreat video! Learning is very important, but unlearning even more so. To let go of beliefs, release and surrender wanting to control.. so as to come to peace of mind, the key to all.
-
ANTim being Tim... one of the best interviews.
-
RAI regularly listen to Tim podcast but don't think he was at his best here, there's a lot more in him. He's also much better as interviewer
-
LBAwesome video!
-
JNOne of the best interviews yet. Content filled with actionable ideas and processes to implement. I'm a big believer in appreciation and gratitude as an essential partner to desire to improve.
-
ATMark looks pissed halfway through
-
MAI liked Raoul’s questions but must admit would have preferred he just interview Mark directly (his limited talk time was far more authentic and interesting although I’ll skip the nirvana showers tip).
-
BVGreat video. I am convinced more and more that the real piece of research is yourself and not the markets. Thank you guys.
-
jSVery thought provoking. Really enjoyed it !
-
CMThoroughly enjoyed this video. Slight deviation to pure investment/macro content but topics of self-improvement always welcome.
-
AEHighly insightful, a great discussion on a topic I wouldn't usually be interested in. I can imagine a completely different interview (i.e cynical) were the mainstream to conduct something similar.
-
MBGo with Yoga!
-
JSFantastic, thanks.
-
JHlots of new ideas to stimulate self inquiry. separate the message from the messenger. glad that rV is moving beyond investment ideas.
-
JSInteresting divergence in feedback on this discussion. Personally I thoroughly enjoyed it. Good to have variation in the type of content offered by RealVision.
-
ALVery impressed with most videos on here. Hearing Tim Ferris pontificate on "elite performance" wasn't one of them.
-
CCThis is the most interesting video yet. This goes so far beyond mere investing - these are ideas for living life well, and then perhaps facilitating better investing decisions.
-
PRSorry, I lost the will to live after 15mins. I have come across many versions of this psycho babble over the years. This sounds like the $5000 a day version. No more, please.
-
TJPhenomenal video with so many fascinating learning points, that I will probably need to watch again several times to get all the benefits.
-
CARaoul, what is the watch that you are wearing?
-
KEWow -- so many book "recommendations" in one video... My amazon wishlist is exploding ;-)
-
JKThis one didn't buzz me. But oh well. Can't win them all.
-
BBThe coursera link that I missed in my earlier comment: https://www.coursera.org/learn/learning-how-to-learn
-
BBIt might be interesting if you talk to Scott Young about learning the MIT computing science material in a year. http://www.scotthyoung.com/blog/mit-challenge/
-
BBThe Learning How to Learn coursera course talked a lot about alternating focused and diffuse methods of learning. (dreaming, exercise)
-
HvAmazing video with so much for us viewers to contemplate. Would be great if we could get a recommended reading list based on this discussion. Thank you RealVisionTV
-
CCRealVisionTV has once again taken me on a magic carpet ride to that mystical place where "sowing and reaping" occupy the same time/space. Thank You.
