This is an April report and it could be argued a lot of the hypothesis made in this are proving to be incorrect already due to certain policy responses from CB's and governments. Would be interested to hear if the author has changed his view. Oil markets are rallying a a deficit looks likely in the next 3-6 months along with equities being back at their highs. Feels like the narrative and risk will only improve from here still.

This harkens back to Think Tank. I still loved that format & miss this type of research.

@Max Likewise - I deeply value reports. This research gives a level of clarity to ideas presented that video rarely does.

We are trying to bring more guest research to the Plus product, but I'd caveat that by mentioning a quick glance at the number of thumbs up and comments on Plus reports compared with Real Vision Live videos gives clear insight into the relative appetite from the audience. I'd say it favors video at the moment. We have another guest report coming out next week that will be accompanied by a live interview and Q&A. This combo may be how we proceed. As always, thanks for the feedback.

Love these reports RV thanks so much. Great long term perspectives and analogies from history. Interesting they see algo trading as a product of policy mistakes that are not sustainable. Can't help but think there is something cannibalistic going on with the rise of machine trading (wrt the market as a whole not just machines competing against each other) ...... the image of the fiat money snake eating itself alive comes to mind. Thank you again please keep these reports coming.

RV Thanks for this. Dont be overswayed by all the thumbs ups going majority to vids as opposed to written work The written work is still greatly appreciated. Consider that it is just easier for people to turn on a vid while they multi task around it. Reading takes work. Some of us are still willing to do the work.;)

One little display improvement could be to make the window with the report larger, saves me from downloading it.

Paul Hodges is one of my absolute favorite Real Vision contributors. Big fan of his work and I'm delighted to finally read his report. Very enthusiastic thumbs up! Maybe ask him during his next interview, how much he charges for his service and if there's a Real Vision member discount? Thanks!
