Despite the hype, DeFi is still relatively nascent. Before revolutionary change can take hold, the proper infrastructure must be in place to facilitate the change. Benjamin Whitby of Qredo joins Santiago Velez of Block Digital Corporation to discuss the work still needed in this industry. As someone who has thought deeply about the DeFi revolution and its implications, Whitby recognizes the desperate need for infrastructure. Qredo is working on several exciting products in this category, one of which is a peer-to-peer transactional service in which one party transmits US dollars. Currently, the only reliable counter-party for this sort of transaction is one of the large crypto exchanges. Changes like these are pivotal if crypto is to be adopted by the masses.
