As the developed world grapples with ever increasing levels of debt, slowing GDP, aging populations and historically low yields, there is another part of the world that seems primed for growth. Emerging market economies hold many of the characteristics that are conducive to long periods of economic expansion and prosperity. The question is — how are these countries fairing in the face of a deadly pandemic, and what can we expect from them on the other side of COVID-19? To answer these questions, Arjun Divecha, head of GMO’s Emerging Markets Equity team and a member of the GMO Board of Directors will be joining Real Vision’s Max Wiethe on this week’s segment of Live.
