Crypto’s Make or Break Moment

Published on: October 6th, 2022

Implied volatility is beginning to edge up. Crypto markets have not yet decorrelated from macro events and traditional risk assets. But if equities experience a major sell-off, the decoupling narrative will be put to the test. If true, could that mark a pivot point for crypto markets to ride a tailwind, and if not, will we just be floating in the same old doldrums? The Delphi team will be our guide for this journey. What’s your take? Let fellow members know in the Pro Crypto Discord.

Pretty much agree, not a lot of alpha here just pretty charts. But then again, not a lot going on in crypto anyways... It's all macro now.

Have to agree... I think the report says the equivalent of "Well, it could go up, or it could go down, or it might continue to consolidate at this level." Brilliant! I'm also increasingly annoyed by bad charting/low-quality TA. This report is just a hodgepodge of "look, this chart resembles this other chart!" (but we don't really have a theory as to why or what it means, other than being a data-mined correlation). Amateurish nonsense. Raoul does a bit of this too, but he usually has an underlying theoretical framework of why there might be a correlation and whether or not it might hold in these conditions. That's entirely missing here.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. REKT has better tech analysis. Delphi simply overlapping charts doesn’t do much for me. However, to be fair, we’re at a pivotal point. Everyone is waiting for the USD to move. No one really knows which way or when. This is mentioned near the end of this report and that’s the only point that matters right now. TBH, I don’t value their reports much since Luna dumped and wouldn’t be upset if Delphi was dropped from RV.

To each their own. This is just MY opinion. Others have different thoughts. Let's be adults about differences of opinion and refrain from childish attacks in the comments section.

Totally calling BS on these comments. If you are looking to follow someone else, good luck. Baaaaaaa-a-a-a!!!! This was an excellent snapshot of the current environment. It was super helpful in distilling what is actually going on into one efficient report. Sorry bro.

Great summary report! Know one knows the future, but having a good frame to look through is the best you can ask for. This report is just that. To assert that you have a concrete edge on what is going to happen at the moment is absurd. Any other service that does that is being irresponsible in the least. This report is awesome!!!

As a long term MI guy, am struggling to extract any value here. More specifically, am looking for more a directional house view rather than giving me a history lesson in what’s been happening over the last few weeks. Sorry to be harsh, but this is no where near the standard that Raoul and Julian deliver through the MI insider product.

Sorry to be harsh... this report reads like the authors don't know enough about crypto nor macro. For this to be charged at the same price as Macro Insiders is insane, when it doesn't take a genius to piece together the info from this report by diligently following other experts on Twitter/ YouTube. Can I switch the remainder of my Crypto Insiders subscription into Macro Insiders please? Otherwise I'll just learn Julian Bridgen's macro framework and thought process through YouTube because amid inflation, a volatile market and job security concerns, there simply isn't enough dollars to pay for financial education that don't bring value.

BTW... I'm not dissing the quality of the authors. As they gain more experience and the broader crypto market matures, I'm sure they will find better ways to analyse this space. I'm just simply stating that this product was overhyped and is overpriced. For the right price this product serves its purpose and I hope RV listens.
