I traded in and out of the SP500 puts and I am completely out of the puts now. What I like to learn is why 0.4 of the capital gain of my put trade is short term and the rest is long term accordingly Fidelity Investments. Of Course I don't mind taking the 0.6 long term treatment, lower my tax! Another question is under what circumstances do I roll an option. Is it more tax favorable?

also on spx and nasdaq puts, ES futures closed slightly above 3800 while the index survived, with the nasdaq puts slightly in the red I understand these are stopped out?, don't wanna be picky with levels but would appreciate a general update from Julian on this bounce thanks

I believe Julian recommended closing the Nov SPX puts and keeping the December puts not vice versa? These monthly summaries still seem to have quite a lot of errors??
