Advisor, investor, and educator Defi Dad, head of marketing and portfolio support at 4RC (Fourth Revolution Capital), joins Real Vision to make the case for DeFi as an emergent trend that appears to be permanent. As he believes education to be of vital importance on the path to mass adoption, DeFi Dad has been actively involved in posting tutorials and seminars across social media in hopes to correct what he sees as a major problem in TradFi—lack of education resulting in financial exclusion. Interestingly, DeFi Dad does not view DeFi as a TradFi killer. He believes incumbent banks will adopt decentralized infrastructure for their back-end networks, reaping the benefits of increased efficiency and improved client trust. These reasons, along with others, culminate into his larger thesis that DeFi’s growth is in its early stages, but more importantly, that it’s irreversible.
