JWFolks, you know I have enjoyed the daily brief since it started. If we're going to talk about the stimulus bills, though, I'd prefer it be less like CNBC or CNN (ie narrative read from press release) than dig into what the bills are a bit. Specifically, how much of this stimulus goes directly to individuals, small businesses, and then how much goes to other overhead would be the macro question I'm most interested in. A good starting point is something like: https://www.crfb.org/blogs/comparing-heroes-and-heals-acts If we're not going to do the RV deep understanding, let's just say "both sides continue to argue about how much money to spend over the next several years".

JSI think is a great how transparently and humbly jack explained the issue with the DB of today. I will only have one comment to Jack- be more confident you have a lot to show to us! Empower yourself more! You are great and we all love to have you as interviewee. We all need to built up our confidence and I hope my comments make you also built up yours and shine even more! Keep it up Jack!

JFHi all, just so you know, Dave Floyd was scheduled to be the guest today, but his internet cut out, so I was called in as a pinch hitter at the last moment. Normally the guest and host confer before to go over topics, but Ash and I didn't have time to do that. So this was just me and Ash "winging it," and as such this episode is less focused than other RVDBs. Just a heads-up!

DGI just made a watchlist of all of the 2020 IPOs based on this interview. When you are actively listening for gems, you find them. Everyone is at a didn't level. I found value today.

SJHaley, Please, please...ya gotta stop with the “I think” prognosticating when referring to markets. Even grey-haired portfolio managers don’t approach their commentary in such a fashion. The best ones lay out a process-centric path to favorable odds. Just the facts, please , ma’am. Thank you.

ABThe noise that helicopters make will get them banned in wealthy gated communities, surely?

TCThis was fun. Not steeped in technical, but fun. I think doing impromptu every other week would be good. Why? Force the RV DB folks to step up and have a raw discussion. Not right, not wrong, but raw. Provokes followup and feedback will tune direction. For example, we are in middle an IPO frenzy where the companies have fairly large caps relative to the rest of the market and no path to profitability. They are off to the side of real world flows, I don't play here, but it seems like a meltdown waiting to happen.

BS20 Minutes of an impromptu DB is still better than 20 hours of those other networks. Looking forward to your discussion on employment next week. Lots of positive news about the vaccine but things that are still inconclusive are 1) will enough people agree to get vaccinated to reach heard immunity and 2) how long the benefits of the vaccine will last. These 2 going hand in hand. If Covid is with us for the long haul, how likely are we to see a demand pickup. We are still short 10M jobs, so no doubt we are still nowhere near where we need to be. Thanks guys!
