DFReally useful Roger. As you say it fills in many of the blanks.

ARExcellent job Roger breaking down CB actions and effects on yield.. These small segments of the broader topics are very helpful!! Let’s keep these explanatory aspects of Julian and Raoul’s outlook coming!!

AHGreat video thanks! This really helped reducing the fog around YCC and QE, etc. One blurry spot left, can someone help me clarifying. I'm struggling to understand the following: When QE is on, bond purchases - either buying by the FED, or buying by the market, frontrunning the FED - should drive up bond prices, and should push down yield, correct? But on the charts I see the opposite: during QE yields goes up or stays flat during QE. (opposing to NO-QE periods when yields are mostly falling) If we focus on the daily chart of US10Year or US05year (yields): on the very day when QE announced by fed (eg: QE1 November 25, 2008) I can see the big red candle (yield down, bond up) that is what we expect from QE, right ? As everyone jumps on and buys those bonds, so price jumps. But this lasts only one day, and during the rest of the QE period the yield is trending up that is the opposite direction. This might only related to a wrong wiring in my fundamental understanding....someone could enlighten me please ?

LVThis is great. Keep it coming. A transcript would be so nice. Thank you RV team.
-
LTTerrific idea. Could you please add a transcript for us to download. I like to follow along, making notes/ thoughts and referring back later if needed.
-
DRThis explainer should be available within about one week after the original video. I listened to so many other things since the original Insider Talk. But I really like the concept.
-
LHGreat idea, adds lots of value to the subscription and Roger is great at explaining. Loved it.its a winner!!

JRLove it
-
TMThanks! Very helpful.
-
WMVery good indeed. The ability to expand on some of these fundamentals is valuable. Roger, might add value to segment the video to allow ease of return to say the YCC section without having to scroll through the whole video.
-
JBThanks for this

-
NCThank you, very useful video. Would be great to have a video/series just on inflation, different definitions/ ways of calculating it etc
-
KKThis is awesome, would love to see more on this! Is not easy breaking it down and certainly most do not have the ability to explain and simplify economic jargons and the complex mechanisms behind. Thanks heaps Roger, learnt a lot today.
-
HSPlease continue doing more of these. Raoul and Julian's videos are so jam-packed with valuable knowledge and information that they need extra unpacking, explaining, and digesting. This is the type of content universities should be exposing their students to.
-
jwVery very informative, adds lot of value to Pro-subscription which Im currently testing out. If Pro account content is going to add this much value to my investing/trading, I have to make yearly subscription, We will see, keep up the good work !
-
VMOn point! Thank you Real Vision for listening to your subscriber base.
-
YYVery helpful briefing by Roger!
-
BMThanks Professor! You nailed the real yield conundrum for me with that one chart. Could you please explain how and what the spike in real yield impact the bond and risk assets?
-
OTThanks and please add more value like this for pro membership. Also please talk about effect of yield curve control on other debt asset classes like muni bonds and Corp debt. Thanks!
-
SHGreat explanation of yield curve control, that was on my list of things to research so I appreciate this educational video!
-
MSRoger, some of these topics I knew BUT I greatly appreciate you going over these and other topics. Please continue to do videos like this. Well done.

LDNice touch

SCThanks Roger, very helpful
-
NHThanks for that Roger that was great. These educational videos are extremely valuable to me. I would love to see more of them. In fact some type of Real Vision university would be awesome and I would be all over that. One thing I thought Roger could mention is that Bitcoin is the opposite to government Crypto in terms of control.
-
GMBrilliant idea! Roger is a fantastic "explainer".

JJThis was fantastic. Thank you to Roger and the RV team for doing this.
-
SGQE and yield curve control, exactly what I needed. Great stuff.

RMThis is a FANTASTIC new addition to the Insider Talks area. Roger really helps one to understand and put together the various incredibly fascinating topics Raoul and Julian breeze through in their most excellent Insider Talks discussions. Roger's clear explanations and the weaving together of the topics really aids in cementing in your mind what is really important about the areas covered by R and J. Looking forward to future "Explainers". Thanks a ton Roger!!!
-
