Thriving Through the 1970s

Perfect Timing ·
Featuring Felix Zulauf

Published on: January 24th, 2019 • Duration: 8 minutes

Swiss hedge fund heavyweight Felix Zulauf relives his investing experience with Real Vision's Grant Williams. Zulauf speaks about being heavily short the market during the summer bear market rally of 1973. OPEC's dramatic price hikes later in 1973 led to dramatic returns for Zulauf in early 1974. The full version of the piece which this is excerpted from was published on Real Vision on March 30, 2018.

i actually think the intentions of posting previous content is good. there are a lot of past interviews where the timing/content might have been a little off in terms of what was *most* relevant at the time of the interview or publishing - and it's now buried (especially for new members). things appear to be changing rapidly out there, and one of the best things any investor can do is look back history for potential answers. maybe make a curated weekly section of previous content that is gaining relevance as markets shift.

Hmmm, what's going on with the content. I don't like watching things twice.
