SRwow! I am late on this one but his pick about Xero (which I am very familiar with being from Australia) has increased 300% as of yesterday!

PJThanks Raoul somehow missed this one first time round, picked it off 'Raoul's Picks', great interview, even after 3 years +
-
AHWhat a brilliant conversation! he was so right about AWS.
-
JCAnyone know who was the investor he was referring to in the end? Someone who worked for Stan Druckenmiller for many years, now runs his own capital with an amazing track record.
-
HJVery good. I understand why others make better decissions than i do. Their smarter and are on a different plane than I am. Feeling stupid after this.

TSGreat interview. It is amazing how quickly the narrative can change. Unicorn is a bad word representing unrealistic market valuations and financial expectations. Much of the discussion though is timeless wrt thinking and frameworks.
-
CSJ Burbank is a great interviewer. Appreciate both these guys!
-
DGMy mind is just realizing an entirely different view. That whole bit on credentials is an absolutely mind blowing thought.

JKI live in Kansas City. I briefly studied in Oxford. Prediction: the most growth in the U.S. over the next 25 years doesn't come from the coasts, left or right.

RM3d printing is going to change the physical parts hew was talking about.

AGYou can just imagine how John grills company management with razor sharp questions when they come to his office. No bullshit allowed.

SJMy vertical learning curve has just gone parabolic. So enriched by great minds.

spIn contrast to this kind of giddy so-cal optimism, Peter Thiel makes a very well reasoned argument that innovation is actually slowing down globally

spSo he has barely made it through half a cycle and he is pricing in the "golden age" for US tech. Makes perfect sense. The bell tolls...

MSLOL Great questions but no answer to them!

CBHe mentions Xero. The stock trades at a market cap of $2.6B NZD on sales of just $73m. Seems to be factoring in a tremendous amount of upside. Buyer beware.
-
AAThoughtful, philosophical and tangible... awesome interview! Good choice John
-
JASo good on so many levels. I am beginning to think that my subscription fee to Real Vision is the premium on a call option that is going to pay off in some serious real and intellectual capital.

RAHe starts with his love of the law of compounding and ends with a rather bashful aw shucks....30% per year return. Where does RV find these guys?....can't wait for HIS next link in the chain!

RAHis comments about the sure to come Teck driven transparency of competence are just so elegant, a universal mirror that will show just the amount of competency cloth we all wear.
-
BLI once again find myself forced to lower my estimation of my competence. Terrific insights.
-
CCHis ability to zoom in and out on metrics and dimensions I had not even considered is eye opening. Charlie Munger say humility is knowing the edge of your own competence. Consider me humbled.
-
PRBrilliant session, lots of insights not just about tech but evaluating other more diverse businesses. I thought the comment about age arbitrage was interesting. I am clearly way out of the money.....
