Yes, awesome interview. If I dared to add my 2 cents: there must be reasons other than Dodd Frank why US yield curve remains above EUR, JPY, GBP, CHF etc. Yes, Fed is not as aggressive on short rates as the others (out of concern for MMMF), but maybe the exodus of foreign CB's from Treasuries and/or concern about USD might play a role, too?

Exceptional interview. Loved to see to Alex´s philosophy applied to the near/long term trends (it´s a blast!). Should be object of more attention in long interviews. I follow John (JB) comment. More details on those argumets would be nice. Congratulations to RVtv, to Raoul and to Alex.

Thank you for asking about income producing RE and REITs. I would love to hear from Sam Zell about now. We are seeing 3.5 cap multifamily sell all day here in So Cal. In today's market I prefer to play RE as a private lender with 40% equity coverage and 8-9% return.

Alex is a great guy and I hope we get to hear more of views more often. Re Long Bonds idea - unfortunately, I don't think we got to his thinking about WHY he believes bonds will go up. What specifically does he see that makes him think that the economy will not do well and rates will go to zero or negative. I don't think his entire logic is about relative value of USTs and the secular trend.

Everything I ever wanted from real vision here. Smart guests, great interviewer and a view that may or may not be right but well presented. Very interested in the long nikkei position as well.

Nice to hear some discussion on rental real estate. I'd be interested in hearing more - perhaps an interview focused on the risks and rewards of that asset class given what may happen politically and economically in the future.

Interesting interview and obviously a bright guy. Two things however. First, his discussion on convexity within treasury futures. I am confused in that so much convexity has been removed from the market now that the Fed essentially owns the mortgage market. Mortgages were the source of convexity, and Uncle Sam doesn't hedge the convexity risk of its portfolio. There is not muc-h--if any convexity--in the treasury market. Also, in the discussion about USD/JPY, wish he had discussed CNY/JPY...that seems to me to be the most important F/X cross at the moment..
