PJTerrific interview, would love too see Khaled back in the future. As previous comments learned more about the Middle East from this one interview than hours of western biased media representations.
-
AFThanks Khaled and JP. Good view of the opportunities in the MENA region.
-
DYInteresting and he seems smart but Why this guy keeps scratchibg his nose non stop!? Usually people do that when they lie (do not tell the truth)? Gives very weird impression.
-
LYvideo efects not necessary to add on good interview

ekI learned more about the dynamics of the Middle East in this one interview than I did with years following conventional news sources. How do we invest in your hedge fund, sir?
-
MNProps to JP Moreno too for his role as interviewer, felt really natural.
-
PBI really enjoyed this interview! Thank you very much!

GRLiving in the Middle East I agree with most of what Mr. Majeed says. My only disagreement is on the dynamics that will keep the price of oil depressed. This has more to do with the type of crude available from the Middle East (heavy sour rather than light sweet) and the fact that the share of investments going into energy is increasingly going towards natural gas. In turn, this may dampen the success of the Aramco IPO

AAKhaled is a disciplined investor with a track record to prove it. Fantastic interview full of useful information. It doesnt get more articulate in MENA than that!
-
JHGreat interview. Hearing from top managers in EMs/frontiers where there's alpha in under-followed, retail-driven small and mid-caps is helpful .. places where no ETFs exist and would be very sub-optimal for getting exposure even if they did.

TDWhat I love most about RV is the calm, professional, mature, and courteous approach to factual and opinionated reporting. Alternative venues have digressed into hysterics, sheer propaganda, devious intentions, and simply untrustworthy reporting. Keep it up your good work RV; this interview was beautiful.

JHHe says "What the US Military would call collateral damage"? I am pretty sure all nation's militaries cause collateral damage.
-
DSQuite interesting interview. Glad to get new insight for MENA investment universe.
-
cgKhaled has the longest and best track record in the MENA region (I m a PM in th e region since 2009). It would be great if he could give us his insight regularly on RV. Loved his simple investment process : I'm looking for growth, how much I m paying for it & how robust this growth is
