Agree with Tony, wont trade real meat for highly processed stuff. if you want to cut meat consumption have real food not processed stuff.

Gents : what am i missing ? If you don’t eat meat you don’t “ save 14,000 cows “as they would never be produced if a law stopped you eating them?? . Grazing fees , and vet care alone would end producing beef . So what your saying is no cows Because you love animals (as i do ) is good for them.?

A world without cows is a world totally committed to chemical fertilizers forever. And how good is it for your favourite wildlife to cover the planet with pea field monoculture? I get it that industrial feedlots are no way to treat animals, but I am surprised a smart guy like Dillian has taken the consensus view rather than really thinking about it.

Disappointing if RV is censoring the comments. Some comments don't contribute to constructive discourse, but white washing is not the solution. Personally I loved it when a comment that asked if Meltem Demirors was single got down voted into oblivion.

Must be only in the US then, where I guess they're "all knuckleheads". US retail still into US stocks, which along with other US assets will be the absolutely worst investment class to be in for the next 1-2 decades (refer to ray dalio's "biggest investment risk").

For example, Nixon use to do it all the time. So Trump is definitely not the first, though what he is doing is not helpful to the long term economy.

Great interview Tony! Always interesting to hear Jared's thoughts. I particularly liked his yield curve analysis of a bear steepener vs a bull steepener (bull steepener is what we typically get which leads to a recession). I think he may be right in that this yield curve inversion and then steepening may not presage an imminent recession like everyone seems to be counting on. Anyway, great analysis and discussion!
