The transition from medical to adult-use poses some of the greatest challenges for the cannabis industry. However, as the government looks to eventually pass legislation, allowing this sector to blossom, Verano Holdings CEO George Archos is convinced that investing now provides the greatest buying opportunities. “We have not hit the tip of the iceberg,” he says, believing that growth will continue to explode—particularly as the biggest hurdle for the industry, the regulatory framework, is resolved. In this interview, Archos describes how Verano, a vertically integrated cannabis company that encompasses operations in 15 U.S. states, differentiates itself from other businesses.
