There are many great RVTV presentations that new subscribers have not seen, and long-term subscribers would enjoy seeing again. It should be noted that this is a tease from an old presentation and a link to that video for those that are interested. DLS

the original interview was "free content" that I saw over at zero hedge 2 years ago, that made me ask what is Real Vision, and ultimately led to me getting my son a subscription and then my own.

Hello everyone - This is indeed a clip from the first interview with Kyle here which I deeply recommend: https://www.realvision.com/tv/shows/the-chain/videos/raoul-pal-kyle-bass We are working on sorting these clips so you'll know it's part of a larger interview. There are a lot of great pieces from the past that I'm sure not everyone has watched. Patience my dear friends, we're getting there! M

This is not quality realvision content worth a subscription.

C'mon! This is snip-its from a years old, long form interview. I have to wade through repackaged content now? Its presumably a free teaser & that's why it's appearing under the latest videos on the app!? This is so inconvenient. As a consumer who has limited time part of the reason for a paid subscription is that you've cut noise to signal well. If I had unlimited time I'd pirate content for free. I don't, I pay. I know RV has worked on reorganizing the delivery of content, please don't include previous content under "latest videos". Please. You guys have made amazing content & I rarely comment although often give thumbs up. I absolutely love RV, but going towards a main stream audience is the opposite of why I signed up. That bears repeating, media for a main stream audience is the opposite of why i signed up. I know I'm just one voice, but have seen echoes of this sentiment in other comments recently. This repackaged content just inclined me to comment. Remember music albums from the 80's where half the album was old songs and only some new. They stopped doing that right 😉. Thank you for all the access to stars of finance & Milton.

Ollie, thanks for your comment. I had a feeling that might be the case based on the guest and video length. You just saved me having to watch to find out. I suppose it makes sense to offer this kind of content for free to attract new users; however, it might be nice to mark it somehow so subscribing users know to skip it.

I think this is an old interview because Raoul looks way thinner now. It was still great regardless

Raoul Pal is a visionary. Thank you for drawing that out of Mr. Bass. Looking forward to more content from this interview.

When Kyle says event-driven, does it mean trading based on news? In my mind then event-driven and macro seem to be hand-in-hand but I'm sure I'm wrong somewhere. Would someone care to clarify my misconception?

My personal view is that you have to have an understanding of the news data etc to come. You build your thesis and allocate accordingly so your trades are in place before the data is released. Those damn "computers" means you have no time to wait until the news is released to place your trades.
