FTWe seem to take the creature comforts for granted? Satellite/cable TV, cell/smart phone, internet, bio-tech, nano-tech and many more seeded by defense/NASA/university research?

FTWe seem to discount the true innovators defense spending/NASA/university research as the American innovation machine. The private sector does refine and market the innovations.
