I closed this today for 50% winner! Probably could have hung around for more, but the way things have been so volatile lately, I did a Steve Miller and "Take the Money and Run."

Very cool watching a pro walk though a credit spread trade and explaining the trade real time!

For the "thumbs downers" here, please note that this piece is part of a series called Technical Trader with emphasis on technical analysis (TA). Although there are exceptions, TA proponents do not usually look too hard at fundamentals so it should come as no surprise that there weren't any deep dives on the business case for Adobe. Whether you agree with TA or prefer fundamental analysis there is a sizable population of traders that use it with varying degrees of success.

I personally welcome the diversity of ideas, strategies, and presentations on Real Vision. I think Danielle did a fine job, if a bit fast, of explaining her process.

Also, as to the seemingly unfavorable risk/reward on this trade: from what I've learned from the Option Alpha podcast and their free educational content, truly high probability setups do not need the r/r ratio to skew so heavily in favor of reward, because they have a higher win rate. It's above my pay grade, but positive expectancy is real math (just ask Ed Thorpe) and is a valid approach to trading.

Thanks Real Vision for widening out the tent. I'm sure we'll all start to figure out which of these series hew more to our preferred styles of trading or investing. I for one appreciate the option to tune in or tune out of RV content, instead of having it filtered through the personal opinions/preferences of other viewers.

From a fundamental view 14X sales & +50X trailing PE is a bit much to be on my watch list. But Market has not cared about valuation in a long time.

Disappointing to see this type of content, high-level and depth macro discussions are what make Real Vision great not '5 star set-ups'. This content may have a place for those learning about trading and technical analysis a place but that place should not be RealVision.

If there are trade ideas to be pitched on RV, at least have the presenter be able to outline a detailed thesis about why a company or sector is an opportunity and why viewer might find an edge (like Mike Alkin's fantastic Uranium piece).

This is what is sold to amateurs. Lots of indicators, some proprietary requiring purchase, which mostly just hides the most important part of the chart: price action! Then putting on an ITM put credit spread which only makes money if the stock goes up. All for a reward to risk ratio of about .7 to 1 before including commission costs! Disappointed to see this promoted on RV!

Agree with previous comments. Not my type of trade either but well worth the time to go through, in order to see how a systematic trading approach is done. At the end of the day, it's the processes that dictates the success of trading and not a single trade idea.

Great to see the process, thank you. But after all the work, you're selling yourself short with 1:1.

This is something you would find on Youtube, not Realvision.

Bit over my pay grade but very interesting to see a pro working and explaining her process. I'm kinda shocked that one is willing to loose 1 (or a bit more) to make 1 as this requires to be right over 50% of the time to break even if my math is correct.

Really thorough explanation of her method/process which is highly valuable to me. Also nice to see how she puts on the trade in real-time...thumbs up from here.
