Anyone know who was the investor he was referring to in the end? Someone who worked for Stan Druckenmiller for many years, now runs his own capital with an amazing track record.

Great interview. It is amazing how quickly the narrative can change. Unicorn is a bad word representing unrealistic market valuations and financial expectations. Much of the discussion though is timeless wrt thinking and frameworks.

In contrast to this kind of giddy so-cal optimism, Peter Thiel makes a very well reasoned argument that innovation is actually slowing down globally

He mentions Xero. The stock trades at a market cap of $2.6B NZD on sales of just $73m. Seems to be factoring in a tremendous amount of upside. Buyer beware.
