I think so many of these negative comments are completely off base. They run s business and are adding a couple of short ads to garner up business. That is not a problem, just great business acumen.

This one is to Rauol personally. I looked at your investment round cut sheet and thought there is not enough information there to put a up 100k with no idea when i might get paid if I ever did. Since then I can see you are trying some new things. I don’t know how you’re doing, but if you had told more about your plans, I was close to putting in. So if you raise capital again, give more information about what you plan to do and why you think your valuation is fair. You I think could raise more with more information.

We pay for subscriptions to RealVision. If you're not profitable, charge a little more, but DON'T ruin it with this nonsense.

I’m going to play devil’s advocate here and say Raoul and grant haven’t let us down yet, and their efforts will continue to support the core underlying purpose for us of professional grade curated content. Without RV or a ridiculous personal network, very little of the best of this stuff is available to us, sometimes even if you’re an MD at a bank.

No need to overreact. I don't think it's a particularly good ad but nothing wrong with trying things. Also, I don't think the value has gone down. RV is trying to address a new audience with different concepts, that's their right as a business. If you don't like the new content, don't watch it. There are still plenty of very interesting deep dive interviews.

Please stop doing this. I don't mind RV behind the scenes updates, new product announcements, even the little pitches at the end of normal videos, but putting up a fake video and ending it with an ad is going completely the wrong way. I understand and appreciate that you're experimenting, but I think the feedback is clear: this is not one your subscribers are eager to see you repeat

The point is simple. RV needs to increase membership/subscriptions to continue what they're doing. So if you can help by recommending it to others you work with, institutions ie business schools, that would be great. Good thing it was 2 minutes because I almost finalized my purchase of the cross Carbone is wearing.

No they don’t. They don’t need a bigger audience, they want one to justify a big sale valuation at some point in the future and that has them losing their way IMO. There is no need for a Netflix of finance out there.

For the third time in a month, i am asking WTF has happened to RV? The original business model was near perfect. Us original subscribers could assume that anything you published was worth our valuable time (and subscription), primarily because Grants editorial judgement is impeccible. Where is he now? Now the hit rate is below 50% and it looks as if you are going for revenue volume, in advance of some form of Goldman Sachs endorsed liquidation/IPO event.

Raoul / Grant - can you please explain the various pitching pieces you’ve put together this week - ie. the deeper motivations behind them? Why this new direction?! I am guessing that membership revenue is insufficient to keep the business operating as is.

Raoul and co not afraid to take risks. Although these sketches are a bit of a WTF moment I like that you are keeping it playful and are not afraid to try new fresh formats and approaches. Not good when people take themselves too seriously... I would pay for a RealVision sitcom, with all the characters!

Is Real Vision running out of cash or something? What is with all these sales pitches! It is sleazier than a used cars salesman. Creating Videos, Selling Subscription to Clients etc.You could simply just email this info, rather than wasting people's time for whom this is not relevant.

the issue with this type of content, added to ever increasing low value material is that for at least I've lost confidence will each new video be a productive use of time and therefore I'm probably missing out on the good stuff. Accept that this is as much about my own short comings but the RV product has most certainly dumbed down

I almost quit this one just before the disembodied head of Raoul came on the screen. Not loving the BS content/fake lead in’s to pitches that I’m seeing this week. Less content is absolutely fine with me as long as its high quality. I am a charter RV subscriber, and it’s feeling like things peaked about 18 months ago. I realize that Grant and Raoul can’t do everything like in the early days, but the success rate of late has dipped below 50% where it used to be like 80%+.

By any measure RV is a helluva deal. The content on this site cannot be found anywhere else. So they put up a three minute ad that actually was quite amusing, is that really worthy of the outrage found in the comments.

sad reality is that it will be about monetization at this point. i doubt it will ever be like CNBC but the drive to have the masses subscribe to RV will ultimately drive the effectiveness of its ideas and trades. if a lot of people know then it just wont work as well.
